Job Description - Motion designer (Glasgow)

Chocolate Films produces video content for museums, art galleries, charities and corporate clients. We run Chocolate Films as a social enterprise, and use profits from the video production services to support a wide range of filmmaking experiences for children, young people and vulnerable adults.

We're currently looking for a new full-time motion designer to support our post-production team in Glasgow.

This position will work with a team of filmmakers on a range of projects for Chocolate films clients. These will include explainer videos, short animations and creative motion graphics for a variety of videos for exhibitions, online and social media.

The ideal candidate will have developed a range of experience across the Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
Since much of our work is in the arts and heritage space, a love of museums and art history is beneficial. This new role will be based from the Chocolate Films office in Glasgow.
Payment: Annual salary £26,000-£30,000 depending on experience

Duration: An initial 6 month trial period with a view to a longer-term position.
Regular working week Monday to Friday 9 - 6 pm, but flexibility essential as weekend and evening work is common. Time off in lieu offered for extra hours.

This role is contingent on a clean DBS check. Ideally, this person will also have a clean driving licence.
