ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Mid Weight Editor to join our growing team. You will be working alongside a team of Editors on a wide range of projects including branded content, online, social, PR and broadcast. The perfect candidate will have the attitude and drive to deliver to a high standard, will be able to work quickly under tight deadlines and craft brilliant and innovative content.

This position is based in Elstree. Only apply if you are within commuting distance.

This position involves some domestic and international travel.

About you:
· 4 years minimum working in the industry.
· Very good knowledge of Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro.
· Good knowledge of Da Vinci Resolve and colour theory.
· You will have experience of editing digital video content to a high standard with proven experience working for a studio, agency or independently for clients.
· Ability to edit on-location in a high pressure environment.
· Strong attention to detail and established creative identity.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively.
· Ability to work independently and efficiently under time pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communications skills, and ability to work as a team member.
· A keen interest in new technology and trends and constantly seeking opportunities to improve.

Responsibilities:
· Work with producers and edit team to create innovative and exciting content on time, whilst adhering to client briefs.
· Working with storyboards and scripts to create exciting content.
· Ingest, backup and archive footage and master files.
· Work closely with our graphics and sound teams to ensure a smooth synergy between all elements of a project.
· Provide creative input throughout the production and post production process.
· Apply colour grading and online elements where required.
· Act as a mentor to junior members of the edit team.
· Be a self-starter, capable of working independently, and be motivated to succeed.
· Must have a willingness to work long hours as needed, often under pressure.
· Meticulous attention to detail across all output and ownership of quality standards.
