Media Production Coordinator and Office Manager

London SE1 office

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an ambitious and growing media start-up as Production Coordinator and Office Manager, with great opportunities for you to grow your career as the company grows.

At Econ Films, you will be reporting to the CEO & MD and work closely with the rest of the production team. Your main task will be to ensure a smooth-running production and office environment, providing senior level support to the team and managing the daily, weekly and monthly operations for the business.

We're looking for an Office Manager/Production Coordinator with experience in the media to join our small friendly team - You'll work in a varied and responsible role where you will enjoy working across all areas of the business.

The ideal candidate will be hyper-organised, proactive and keen to learn new skills.

You'll have experience working in a TV /Media Production environment and be interested in developing your career in Production Management in the media.

You'll oversee the day to day running of the office along with supporting the CEO and MD with Pre and Post-Production such as booking crew, creating and updating call sheets, liaising with clients, organising and paying freelancers and overseeing the progress of projects, including budget management.

The successful applicant will undergo interviews and assessed tasks will be assigned. Ideally, the successful candidates will be able to start immediately.

Key responsibilities:
• Managing the office, office supplies and supplier contracts
• Managing kit, including maintenance and hire
• Booking transport and accommodation
• Overseeing projects from start to finish: Booking and organising Crew, dealing with the logistics of shoots, local and overseas ensuring relevant paperwork is completed and submitted, visas etc
• Handling office and project finances
• Liaising with the accounts team regarding crew invoices, POs, Profit & Loss

It's essential that you're a mid to senior level Office Manager within the Media Production sector.

You'll have strong organisation skills and comfortable using Excel to track project spend and budget management and, Project Management/Production Management software.

You're experienced in receiving time sheets and invoices and, ensuring these are paid on time.

For all office and team enquiries, you're the 'go-to' person in our office.

We're looking for a super organised individual who is interested building their career in Production Management.

Skills and Experience

Experience working in Media Production, including:

• Organising film crews, including travel and accommodation, paperwork, equipment and locations
• Making payments, raising PO's and requisitions and tracking expenditures
• Exceptional data entry skills with a keen eye for detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google Suite, particularly MS Excel
• Obtaining film permits and securing locations as required
• Experience using production management or project management software, e.g. Monday.com, Project TeamWorks, Microsoft Project or Basecamp
• Able to work remotely (when required) and without supervision
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
