Media Planning Executive

London

This role is responsible for both planning and the operational delivery and implementation of promotional TV activities for an allocated channel/s driving marketing outcomes.

Main responsibilities
Work within a team of dedicated TV Media Planners, responsible for the operational delivery and implementation of promotional activities across ITV's suite of linear channels - ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
Create bespoke Owned TV media plans for a broad range of ITV content - from Entertainment, Factual, Sport to Drama.
Work alongside other marketing, media and creative teams acting as the TV media expert offering advice, learnings and ideas to drive performance and innovation.
Liaise with creative teams to help manage the delivery of marketing assets.
Monitor performance and feedback learnings back to the wider campaign media team to paint an ongoing picture of what activity is performing best, to drive optimisation across all TV activity.
Manage day to day queries from stakeholders around the business (Marketing/Media/Creative/Programme Strategy/Broadcast Ops/Commercial)
Assist the DTC (Direct to Consumer) Manager with the daily execution and administration of commercial TV and VOD campaigns for key accounts, including ITV Win and ITVX Premium.
Analyse monthly campaign performance to inform and create quarterly Post-Campaign Analyses (PCAs) across all DTC accounts, utilizing tools like Techedge/K2 and Adalyser
Manage the preparation of booking forms, capturing all essential campaign information such as budget, durations, and channel mix.
Oversee the administration of copy rotation instructions to the Traffic team.
Manage DTC campaign bookings by collaborating with key stakeholders, including Commercial Operations, Traffic teams, Marketing, and Creative, to ensure campaigns go live and launch successfully.
Be responsible for factual accuracy for visual on screen presentation and continuity scripts
Creative Make-list administration via Citrix (in house system)

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)
Solid experience in a TV media planning role within a broadcast or media agency environment.
Proven ability to analyse campaign performance and produce comprehensive post-campaign analysis (PCAs)
A strong understanding of how to use BARB Techedge/K2, along with a firm grasp of the tool's capabilities
Good at understanding and interpreting data to aid decision making
An ability to define and deliver media plans for marketing, working towards clear outcomes and KPIs.
Strong understanding and curiosity towards TV media planning and a drive to improve effectiveness and campaign performance.
Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
Understanding the process of buying Commercial TV/VOD Inventory
