We are growing and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Media Manager to provide technical media management across all of our clients on an initial 12-month fixed term contract. Reporting into the Head of Creative & Post-Production, this would be a great position for someone who has technical knowledge of media workflows, is an excellent communicator and has strong organisational skills. What you'll be doing... * Supporting the in-house edit workflows across Buzz 16's catalogue of productions * Assisting in the planning and workflows for shoots, provision of kit requirements * Providing onsite shoot support for the Production team and DIT of rushes * Organising the archive of returning shoot rushes * Managing XFile workflows for our live sport Outside Broadcast productions * Ensuring constant access to Outside Broadcast recordings for APs and researchers * Maintaining strong relationships with our clients' media management departments * Implementation of file structure on SSDs and NAS servers * Confident formatting of drives once backed up accordingly * Providing general technical support for the office Please note that this job description does not represent a comprehensive list of activities and employees may be requested to undertake other reasonable duties. This role may also require late starts/finishes and weekend /bank holiday working where necessary as well as travelling to shoot / outside broadcast location. RequirementsWho you are... * We'd love you to have experience working as a Media Manager or in a similar role. * You're proactive, approachable, can think on your feet and are able to juggle a few things at once. * You're the sort of person who loves to keep things organised and enjoy working as part of a team as well as independently. * You know all about production and postproduction workflows and understand all the necessary support that is required from a media manager in this part of the industry. * You understand edit processes such as sourcing/ingest of footage, transcoding, edit timelines and rough cutting, export processes and file formats, frame rates and codecs. * You have Adobe Creative Cloud knowledge (specifically Premiere Pro and Media Encoder). * Although not essential, it would be great if you have software networking experience, QNAP NAS storage experience, an understanding of Outside Broadcast workflows (especially sport-related) and Apple OS and Google Drive knowledge.
