Your key responsibilities:

We are looking for a Media Coordinator to join the Media Management team as a part of the wider Sky Production Services team, based in Sky Studios in West London. The Media Coordinator will proactively manage long-form and short-form materials throughout Sky's Broadcast system, update and assign IDs to the different platform schedules and catalogues, to monitor and manage IDs throughout the system and adhere to deadlines for linear and for VOD platforms. In addition the Media Coordinator will oversee the ordering and delivery of materials from distributors and facility houses as well as the delivery of access services: subtitling and audio description that is required by broadcast legislation across all Sky channels, meeting Ofcom regulations. The role provides a core line of communication for all clients, and therefore demands a high level of customer service and client focus, delivering against specific agreements pertaining to the acceptance, ingest, processing and timely delivery of content and its associated information.

- Responsible for monitoring content from delivery from suppliers, through Sky's systems and onto TV, VOD and OTT platforms.
- Manage TV schedules across Entertainment, Sports and Movie linear channels and OnDemand, whilst, fostering strong relationships with Sky Channel teams, our 3rd Parties and clients to ensure a seamless service across the whole of Sky.


Your skills:

- Ability to demonstrate clear and concise communication skills with colleagues and customers alike, in order to provide a high standard of relevant and timely information pertaining to the work carried out
- You will also need to be highly organised to deal with and prioritise your daily workload.
- The ability to assess, maintain and develop own performance and aid the team performance objectively, against agreed productivity and quality targets is essential
- Previous experience with media management or within a broadcast Media environment is highly advantageous.
- A passion for the industry is a must and a general understanding of broadcast is essential.
- The role is based on a shift pattern Monday - Sunday, 7 day fortnight that is subject to change and will also include night shifts. Please only apply if this suits your circumstances.
