MCR ENGINEER

Interactive TV company are seeking a motivated individual for their production facility in Milton Keynes

The position:
Working on a freelance shift pattern (including weekends) you will be responsible for all broadcast output during your shift. This covers Sat/DVB-T, web and international streaming feeds. The position requires a basic working knowledge of broadcast set ups & equipment, basic networking knowledge and basic studio equipment knowledge.

The candidate:
All candidates with an interest in broadcast/transmission control or engineering are welcomed. Graduates seeking a first step into broadcast/TV should look no further. Ideal candidates would be familar with MCR, Live Studio or transmission environments. Working knowledge of Black magic routers, Evertz monitoring control, Thompson encoder/decoders a bonus. Candidates should be self motivated, good communicators and be able to adapt and learn processes and equipment quickly.

There is a steep leanring curve to this position and candidates should be aware that most of the content is of an adult nature.

The role will primarily be night shifts and needs to be filled asap.
