We are currently in the pre-production phase of the 5th and 6th series of 'I am a Killer'. Each episode follows an inmate or ex inmate in the American prison system.

As part of the production team, we are seeking multiple Location Assistants to join us for a period of 6-7 weeks, accompanying the self-shooting Producer Director and Producer on a shoot across various states in the US.

Various start dates from September.

ROLE:
In the role of Location Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide extensive support to the Producer/Director and Producer throughout the shoot. This position requires you to be available for the entire duration of the shoot, which will span between 6-7 weeks. It is essential that you feel comfortable driving within the United States. Your key duties will include:

· Help unload / rig / derig kit.
· Ensure batteries are charged daily
· Ensure that ALL cards are labelled and logged correctly
· Data wrangling - backing up media (training will be given)
· Responsible for keeping the rushes log updated
· Organise courier to transport back-up drives to the UK during the shoot
· Upload interview sound files/proxies to transcription service
· Additional kit support to PD
· Driving to location where necessary - ensuring car is always topped up with fuel
· Collection of release forms: contributor, location and still/archive
· Logging cards, locations, release forms
· Informing production of movements & whereabouts
· Making Production aware of any compliance or potential permission issues
· Help to manage floats & informing production if running low
· Keep receipts and petty cash log
