JOB PURPOSE - Summarise in one/two sentences why this job exists. In-house line producer to produce CG series & special PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES CURRENT PROGRAMMINGOversee production of CG series & Special, including:Schedule, budget & cashflow preparation & reviewWork closely with HIT series producerKeeping accurate records of production informationDrafting of required deal memosIdentifying appropriate resourcesMonitoring work in progress including scripts, casting, voice records, design, storyboard, production, post production & delivery to key broadcastersWork with Production Accountant in the preparation of cost reportsBe main point of contact with technical department re:QC and technical specificationsLiaise with internal departments to ensure production is providing necessary assets in a timely way including designs, colour models, bibles, style guides, presentation materials etc.Maintain a strong working relationship with production studios, production accountant, finance, legal, consumer products and content salesAssist in building and maintaining strong relationships with creative partners and industry peersAdvise and mentor production supervisors, co-ordinators and assistantsPerforming all other applicable duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCERelevant experience: 5-8 yearsDescribe specific skills and experience:Through knowledge of production and project managementStrong organizational skillsExcellent people skills and clear communicatorExperience in managing budgets and schedulesUnderstanding of film financing and co-production modelsKnowledge of creative development processKnowledge of Children's TV industryWorking knowledge of entertainment contract lawDiplomacy, time management and problem solvingAdvanced computer skillsDelegationPLEASE ANSWER BELOW QUESTIONS IN COVER LETTERJOB CHALLENGESDescribe most challenging or complex part of the job.Prioritising and problem solving.Managing relationships and personalities while remaining open, diplomatic and considerate to all involved.RELATIONSHIPS: indicate key contacts and the nature of contact.
