Line Producer

JOB PURPOSE - Summarise in one/two sentences why this job exists.

In-house line producer to produce CG series & special

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

CURRENT PROGRAMMINGOversee production of CG series & Special, including:Schedule, budget & cashflow preparation & review
Work closely with HIT series producer
Keeping accurate records of production information
Drafting of required deal memos
Identifying appropriate resources
Monitoring work in progress including scripts, casting, voice records, design, storyboard, production, post production & delivery to key broadcasters
Work with Production Accountant in the preparation of cost reports
Be main point of contact with technical department re:QC and technical specifications

Liaise with internal departments to ensure production is providing necessary assets in a timely way including designs, colour models, bibles, style guides, presentation materials etc.
Maintain a strong working relationship with production studios, production accountant, finance, legal, consumer products and content sales
Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with creative partners and industry peers
Advise and mentor production supervisors, co-ordinators and assistants
Performing all other applicable duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Relevant experience: 5-8 years

Describe specific skills and experience:Through knowledge of production and project management
Strong organizational skills
Excellent people skills and clear communicator
Experience in managing budgets and schedules
Understanding of film financing and co-production models
Knowledge of creative development process
Knowledge of Children's TV industry
Working knowledge of entertainment contract lawDiplomacy, time management and problem solving
Advanced computer skills
