Lead Videographer

Position Title: Lead Videographer
Location: London

Reports To: Head of Art and Studio

We are seeking:

Lead Videographer
Oversee content conceptualisation, planning and production
Including shooting, editing, project management and trend analysis

Key Responsibilities

Lead Video Content Production: Manage and mentor the video content team, ensuring all video projects-from studio, campaigns, social media and marketing content-are executed at the highest standard on time and to a high standard.
Conceptualise and Plan: Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing teams to brainstorm, plan, and storyboard video content that aligns with our brand's voice and goals. You'll be responsible for translating concepts into compelling visual narratives.
Shooting and Editing: Lead all aspects of video production, including shooting on-location and in-studio. Ensure high-quality footage is captured, with an emphasis on lighting, composition, and color accuracy. Masterfully edit content using DaVinci Resolve and the Adobe Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), integrating motion graphics and other post-production elements as needed.
Technical Expertise: Set up and break down complex video shoots, including lighting and camera equipment. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure all equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
Post-Production Oversight: Oversee the post-production process, working closely with internal and external teams to ensure final video content meets creative guidelines and technical specifications. Manage the archiving of footage and final edits for easy retrieval.
Project Management: Work with the production and studio team to plan and manage production schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Trend Analysis: Stay informed about the latest trends in video marketing and social media, bringing fresh ideas to the team and continuously elevating our content output.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in video production, ideally within a team environment or similar role in a production agency or brand.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop). Strong knowledge of studio lighting, grip equipment, and on-set direction.
Creative Vision: Strong conceptual skills with the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling content. Experience in creating content for various platforms, including social media, is essential.
Leadership: Proven experience in leading a video team, with strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple projects and deadlines.
Attention to Detail: High standard of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of production and post-production.
Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and schedules, including potential travel for shoots.
