Our team based across London, Manchester & Mumbai have the capability, creativity and commercialism to provide creative solutions for our diverse client portfolio, including renowned brands like M&S, Jimmy Choo, and Kurt Geiger.Our services include branding, web design, digital marketing, creative, photography, photographic production and video, all of which are wrapped with end-to-end account management and logistics production - put simply we plan, create and optimise content for our clients.This role will be based in our London studio complex in SW6.Role Overview:Seventy7 is looking for an experienced and skilled Lead Studio Assistant to join our team and help elevate our studio operations to the next level.A degree-level qualification in photography or film is not essential, previous knowledge of photography, lighting and studio equipment is essential. This role will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our studio, supporting photographers and ensuring smooth workflow each and every day.Main Responsibilities:Lead the preparation and execution of photo shoots, including planning, coordinating with other departments and team members, and ensuring all technical and logistical aspects are handled efficientlyOversee and manage the setup and breakdown of all studio equipment and setsMaintain and organise photographic equipment, ensuring all items are in working order and properly storedSupport photographers and creatives during shoots, ensuring all equipment and props are prepared and in placeOversee advanced administrative duties, including managing studio schedules, coordinating with contractors/suppliers and handling financial transactionsManage studio inventory, including ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, and organising props and materialsContribute ideas for shoots and help source props and materialsGreet and assist clients throughout the day, ensuring they have a positive experience and their needs are met throughout the dayImplement and improve studio workflows and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivityOversee and maintain studio/kitchen cleanliness to a high standardGeneral studios duties including painting, set building and cleaningHelp train new Studio Assistants and interns, providing guidance, training and feedbackAttentiveness to detail, care and timekeepingEnsure all health and safety protocols are followedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in photography, visual arts, or a related field, or equivalent experienceMin 2 years experience in a photographic studio or related environmentProficiency in photography equipment and softwareProficiency in Microsoft Office/GoogleDocsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift and move heavy equipment as neededPersonal Skills:Excellent time management and multitasking abilitiesAbility to handle high-pressure situations and tight deadlines with professionalismExercise autonomy in decision-making and problem-solvingStrong leadership and team management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEnthusiasm for the creative industry and a willingness to learnDemonstrate a positive and friendly attitudeHealth & Safety:Fully understands the fire, emergency and health & safety procedures of the workplaceEnsures that all potential and real hazards are taken care of immediately, and are reported appropriatelyWorks in a safe and responsible manner, within the framework of legislation and workplace specific policiesCareer Development:Opportunities for career growth in Photography based on progressionWork in a creative and collaborative environment
