Working closely with the Art Director, you will drive the creative vision forward, ensuring that every piece of concept art aligns with our overarching goals. You will lead the concept art team and mentor artists while maintaining the highest quality standards throughout the project.Key Duties IncludeLead the concept art team, providing creative direction and mentorship to junior and mid-level artists.Collaborate closely with the Art Director and other departments to define and communicate the visual language of the game.Generate high-quality concept art for characters, environments, and props that reflects the game's artistic style and narrative.Oversee the concept art production pipeline, ensuring efficient workflows and high standards of quality.Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the art team, encouraging experimentation and growth.RequirementsAn up-to-date portfolio showcasing your skills, leadership experience, and vision as a concept artist.Significant experience in the gaming industry with several shipped titles showcasing your conceptual design work.Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) and 3D modeling software (Maya, Blender, etc.).Demonstrated experience managing and leading a team of artists.A deep understanding of anatomy, perspective, lighting, composition, and color theory.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate ideas to various stakeholders.Ability to work collaboratively across departments, fostering strong relationships with design, production, and engineering teams.A keen understanding of game development processes and technical limitations.DesirableExperience with Unreal Engine and 3dBenefits25 Days Holiday, plus 1 day for your birthdayStudio Shutdown between Christmas and New YearDiscretionary Bonus SchemePrivate Pension SchemePrivate HealthcareHealth and Well-Being BenefitsDental CareOptical treatmentsMental Health Support
