Glassworks London are currently seeking a talented 2D artist to join the team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced creative who enjoys lead artist responsibility, is happy to work on a variety of different projects and has high standards of finishing. The scope of work ranges from commercials to longform and specialised in-house R&D projects, from traditional live-action online to full-CG production and everything in between.

Essential attributes:

Creative eye and artistic sensibility
Technical ability across a wide range of 2D disciplines
8+ yrs industry experience in high-end digital compositing
4+ years experience as a lead artist / VFX supervisor
Extensive shoot supervision experience
A high standard of quality control
Enthusiasm and an inquisitive mind
Excellent time management and ability to work to tight deadlines
Calm under pressure
Creativity in problem solving
Thorough understanding of 3D pipeline
Software:

Flame or Nuke (or both)
Adobe suite
Bonus (but not required):

Knowledge of 3D tools (e.g. Maya / Houdini)
Traditional 2D skills (drawing/painting etc)
Knowledge of Python / scripting
Interest in photography
Personal Situation:

This is a London-based role and the successful applicant will be expected to attend a minimum of 3 days per week in the Glassworks office.
