BLINK INDUSTRIES is an Emmy and BAFTA-winning development and production studio based in London. We specialise in bringing an inventive, mixed-media approach to our slate of Comedy and Family projects and we're passionate about developing ideas that look and feel like no other.



We are looking for a talented 2D Layout Supervisor to join our team on an exciting new 2D Adult Animation TV series project that we're bringing to life at our North-London-based studio. (Hybrid work possible.) The role starts at the beginning of February and runs up until the end of July 2025.



Required Experience and Skills:

•Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience, including supervisory roles, working on animated TV series, with expertise in 2D production pipelines.

•Proven ability to deliver results under series quotas in fast-paced, highly creative environments, adhering strictly to schedules and scope requirements.

•In-depth knowledge of interpreting storyboards and executing camera setups for shots and sequences.

•Strong expertise in 2D animation workflows including an understanding of unique layout demands for such projects.



Artistic and Technical Skills:

•Exceptional draughtsmanship skills, with a deep understanding of depth, perspective, and spatial design.

•Strong sense of character posing, with an acute awareness of scale, composition, and storytelling.

•Attention to detail, ensuring precision and quality in all aspects of layout production.

•Expert-level proficiency in Photoshop and Adobe After Effects.

•Familiarity with additional relevant tools is a plus.



Leadership and Problem-Solving:

•Ability to provide constructive feedback, mentor layout artists, and implement improvements effectively.

•Strong ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and maintain a proactive, creative approach to resolving technical and creative challenges.
