Lighthouse Studios is currently seeking a talented and experienced Layout Supervisor to work on an exciting new show "Little Ellen" for Warner Bros.! The 2D-animated series Little Ellen finds the talk-show host exploring imaginary lands, making new friends, making mistakes and will include musical numbers as well.

As a Layout Supervisor you will join our international crew working in a fast paced and vibrant environment while based in the beautiful medieval city of Kilkenny. You will join the existing Layout team and contribute to the animation process. We look forward to working with you!

Working closely with the Line Producer, other Department Managers and your team of Layout Artists, this is a high intensity role. You must be experienced, good with deadlines and enjoy the pressure of working on a demanding high-end production.

Key responsibilities:
* Responsible for reviewing location design and development artwork and the breakdown of locked animatics
* Delivery and assignment of layouts for the entire layout team
* Communicate clearly the Director's vision to the Layout team. This includes communicating the necessary retakes
* Supervise the team to ensure the project delivers on the creative objective
* Suggest and implement solutions to the team to assist them with their quota
* Work closely with the Line Producer, Art Director and Production Manager to ensure the project is delivered on time
* Deliver technically clearly named and well layered files to the scene prep and background departments following established protocols
* Attend departmental kick-off meetings, reviews and director approvals as needed

Key requirements:
* At least 3+ years of experience as a 2D Layout Supervisor
* Expert knowledge in Photoshop is essential
* Knowledge of Shotgun tracking a plus
* Eye for detail and a strong sense of composition, perspective and continuity essential
* Thorough understanding of planning the layouts based on the provided references
* Communicate clearly with Line Producer and other department supervisors
* Troubleshoot and fore planning essential in order to spot delays
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and creative environment
* Must possess excellent time management skills with the utmost respect for deadlines
* English (reasonably high standard required)
