We are looking for Layout Artists to join our team, working on exciting feature and episodic productions.

As part of the Layout team, you will ingest and prepare shots and sequences for the Show. You'll process shots in sequence with emphasis on scene hygiene, set dressing, asset casting and final camera. Working with Layout Supervisors and Leads to support publishing of shots to Animation.



Match Previs shots into Layout, ensuring Pipeline standards are met.
Ensure asset casting, caching and rigs are correct for downstream departments.
Finalise Camera Animation (Camera Polish).
Set Dressing to match the Production Design requirements of each shot.
Conform and deliver shot data and scene files that meets the standards of the Production.
Trouble-shoot across various issues from assets to camera to scene files and shot builds.
Communicate with other departments to find solutions that facilitate the production process.
Requirements


Minimum 2+ years Production experience in a Layout role.
Strong knowledge of Cinematography, Cameras, Lensing and Staging
Proficient in Maya
Experience with Houdini a bonus
Strong written/verbal communication skills in English, with proactive problem-solving skills
