Junior Video & Multimedia Producer

We are looking for an entry-level person that wants to develop and further their career in Video and Multimedia. This is an excellent opportunity within IDP Connect and we can ensure that you will develop a wide range of skills with a very supportive team.

About the role
The Video and Multimedia Producer will be responsible for creating videos and multimedia across the IDP Connect sites. This diverse role will involve you coming up with concepts, as well as shooting and editing videos for a range of audiences, including prospective university students and universities themselves.

Working hours
Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Key responsibilities
* Creation and inception of video ideas, from storyboard through to social promotion. Including the sourcing of content, writing scripts and editing the content
* Shoot and edit high-quality videos for both B2C and B2B purposes
* Being a key lead on video projects with the support of our Marketing Communications team
* Researching and executing new ideas for content that engages with our audiences
* Working collaboratively with teams in editing stages
* Playing a key role in debriefings and having sound ideas on how we can improve
* Guiding managers on where we need to invest and develop our skills in video/multimedia
* Developing a library of footage that can be re-purposed for a range of activities
* Creating and editing content in line with IDP Connect key targets and priorities
* Keeping up to date with the latest trends in social and video
* Working with the Marketing and Communications team to plan work in line with the Content Calendar

About you
You'll be a creative filmmaker who can produce versatile content. You will need to be as comfortable filming and editing fun videos for a teenage audience as much as a slick co video for client-facing purposes. You will be passionate about social video.

Skills/Attributes
* At least 2 years' experience in a related field in order to fulfil this role to the required standard
* Excellent knowledge of editing and exporting software (minimum Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop)
* Demonstrable understanding of what makes good content
* Experience producing online videos and be able to create an engaging story from initial brainstorming through to publishing
* Understanding about what makes a good video, from lighting and room arrangement to the power of what's possible in post
* Plenty of experience using camera and microphone equipment
* Ability to work on tight budgets
* Calm under pressure, with the ability to think on your feet
* The ability to shoot and edit videos to a tight deadline
* Creativity flowing through their veins, we want your input!
* The ability to make versatile videos for a range of clients and audiences
* Good communication skills and the ability to put people you are filming at ease
* A passion to keep growing your skills and knowledge through our training and development opportunities
* An interest in the education sector
* Ability to understand and work with brand guidelines
