Junior Video Content Producer

London

Your Role: Junior Video Producer, reporting to the Senior Video Producer.

As a Junior Video Producer at Global, you will be working alongside our video, social and radio teams to produce, capture and edit outstanding, engaging video content that ensures Global remains at the top of the media industry, with your focus being on the Heart brand.

The working days for this role will be Saturdays, for Saturday Breakfast, and four days in the week. With your working weekdays negotiable with your manager.

Your main place of work will be our central London office in Leicester Square, London. At least 3 days a week will be office based, with 2 days working remotely with our current Smart Working arrangement.

The nature of the work we do here at Global means you will occasionally be required to work evenings and weekends for various productions and live events. There is also occasional international travel attached to some of our productions.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for helping to create memorable video content that our audiences will want to share. Your ideas will help bring our brands alive online and across social media.
Shoot and edit a broad range of video content both short and longform for Global's social channels and Global Player.
Vision Mix live and edit pre-recorded video that will broadcast on Global Player, aligning with on-air TX schedules or live events.
Work with various teams on and off air to bring ideas to life, contributing to the brand's growth.
Work with presenters and A-list celebrities to create engaging social content for our digital audience.

What You'll Need

Working knowledge of video production techniques and workflows. You will learn a lot on the job.
Experience with Adobe Suite apps such as Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects.
Camera operating and shoot experience. We film on a range of different cameras depending on the production, but we'll teach you everything you need to know.
A solid understanding of various social media platforms and how to cater content to differing audiences.
A can-do attitude, willing to go the extra mile and to always be professional and courteous towards your colleagues.
