Job Purpose: Monitoring multi-channel output and checking, preparation, playout and recording of broadcast materials on tape and video server.

Key responsibilities & accountabilities
* Monitoring of Transmission output, logging any faults or outages.
* Loading and checking playlists, ensuring that all media is ready for playout
* Making amendments to playlists in response to schedule changes
* Spot checking and QC of media submitted by Production and Post-Production teams
* Liaising with Scheduling and Post-Production teams when media is missing or needs to be replaced due to technical or editorial issues
* Updating and maintaining departmental databases and reports
* Media management
* Updating the EPG following changes to the schedules
* Any other duties as requested

Technical Competencies
