PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Junior Scheduler is responsible for executing accurate schedules for transmission.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Carry out daily checklist to prepare accurate schedules for sending to playout providers
Process spot files from Sales and send complete schedules to playout providers
Input continuity items and information to set deadlines and liaise with the continuity team in terms of schedule changes and updates within the schedule
Work with the sponsorship team to update rotations, and accurately process and schedule credits
To view and log programmes, taking into account transitions, commercial compliance and editorial judgements
To provide cover for other department members in their absence in some areas

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

Skills

Experience within the broadcasting industry desirable
Some knowledge/experience of Whats'On or other scheduling systems is preferred
Good PC skills including Microsoft packages
