A well known Media Broadcast company is looking for a Junior Scheduler to join their busy Broadcast Services team.

The successful applicant will be given full training in TV channel management systems and processes, as well as working with channel management software. This is an entry level role that is perfect for a recent graduate. No scheduling experience is necessary. All we ask is for applicants to have a passion for television and are willing to learn a very niche skill within broadcasting.

Initially the Junior Scheduler's main role will be to support the team with metadata management and providing holiday and illness cover, reporting to the Head of Channel Management.

The successful applicant must have an acute attention to detail, have a good command of written and spoken English and work well within a team, as well as individually.

This office based role is 9 - 5.30 Monday - Friday and it is important to note that our offices are based in Chalfont St Peter in Buckinghamshire. Please only apply if you can commute.

Junior Scheduler responsibilities will include:
To work on an exciting new project on the implementation of Local TV in the UK
To oversee and manage the material metadata, ensuring that all scheduling information is accurate and available on time.
Client and third party liaison
Content QC and management
Assisting the scheduling team
Covering the broadcast service team where necessary
Dealing with ad hoc changes quickly and professionally
