To give you a flavour of the creators we work with here's a sample of those currently working on shows right now: AK Ndifornyen, Tom Basden, Diane Morgan, Liam Williams, Jamie Demetriou, Gbemi Ikumelo and the creators of Inside No. 9 Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton.Main ResponsibilitiesWe have an exciting opportunity within the BBC Studios Comedy team as a Junior Production Manager, based in Cardiff.The Junior Production Manager is instrumental in the day to day smooth running of a project. You will have delegated decision-making authority from the Line Producer whilst working within BBC guidelines and frameworks. The Junior Production Manager may either manage a less complex production or on a larger, more complex production, provide a supporting role to the Line Producer/Production Manager. You will have line management responsibilities for junior production management team members and you will be a key part of the production processes, ensuring resources and editorial aspirations are aligned.Post holders at this level report to a Line Producer and Production ExecutiveExpected to build and maintain a wide range of internal contacts across the BBCForm positive external relationships with resource providers, contributors, artists and their agents, freelancers and public officials (e.g. local authorities)Are you the right candidate?We are looking for candidates with practical experience in related industries (theatre, live events, music) or who have worked at PC level within TV or Audio.If you don't come from a Production Management background you will possess these skills:Project management experienceOrganisational and planning skillsNegotiation and influenceUnderstanding health & safety guidanceManaging junior team membersBudget management
