8 month fixed term position (until 31/07/2026)


The role

To develop skills required to be a full producer at ITV Sport. To produce creative content for high profile ITV Sport output including major Football tournaments, Six Nations Championships and all major UK Horse Racing festivals. Gain confidence and ability to produce creative VT sequences, match edits, analysis packages and features.

Some key responsibilities

? To work in VT on live shows

? To assist on Outside Broadcasts

? To support Programme Editors, Directors & Senior Producers

? To liaise with on screen talent for analysis packages

? To generate ideas and suggestions for content and demonstrate creative flair

? To carry out research on behalf of Producers and Editors

? To produce digital content for ITV Sport


Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)


? Some experience of working in a live sport broadcast setting.

? Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

? Experience of editing content and filming content

? Evidence of a creative background


Other things we're looking for (key criteria)


? Strong interest and knowledge of sports including Football, Rugby Union and Horse Racing in particular.

? A self-starter, with strong organisational skills and eagerness to learn.

? Ability to remain calm under pressure.

? A keen interest in developing story ideas and content suggestions.
