Junior Producer

London

We are the arts and culture content agency, with nearly twenty years' experience working with cultural institutions, commercial galleries and global brands. Clients include the V&A, British Council, Art Basel, BBC Arts, Sky Arts, Thaddaeus Ropac and Sotheby's. We offer a fully integrated multi-platform publishing service that encompasses design, content, filmmaking, print production and social media.

We are looking for a Junior Producer to join us full-time and work across a broad range of productions supporting our Senior Producer. The ideal candidate should have at least three years experience working in an agency or similar environment. A love and knowledge of arts and culture, including visual arts, theatre, literature, music and film is essential.

The Junior Producer is an integral part of making sure the administrative side of our productions are maintained so that they run smoothly and face minimal issues. An unwavering attention to detail, rigour in execution and a proven ability to project manage as well as having creative flair are fundamental to the success of this role. A proven love and knowledge of arts and culture, including visual arts, theatre, literature, music, and film is essential.

Key duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Coordinating shoots and managing logistics including scheduling, bookings (travel, kit, crew, etc)
Create and send out commissioning forms for freelancers
H&S risk assessments
Creating call sheets
Creating production and edit schedules
Assisting on-location as a runner acting as a general assistant to the Senior Producer
Interview research
Music research and licensing
Image research and licensing
Researching and developing treatments and proposals
Researching, hiring and booking freelancers, keeping an up-to-date contacts list
Maintaining a highly organised and extensive archive and record of each video production
Liaising with accounts to generate PO's, tracking receipts and invoices
Ensuring resource allocation for each production is within budget and reviewed with Producers
Creating social media cuts for our social media channels using Adobe Premiere
.srt file creation for films using Sonix or similar software and proofing the text
Taking behind the scenes photographs on shoots for use on our social media channels (using an i-phone)

Qualifications & Skills

A degree or similar preferably in Media
3+ years of work experience in an agency or similar environment
Experience in planning and executing video productions adhering to processes and timelines
Background or proven interest in art or culture
Ability to manage and stay on top of projects, understanding the requirements to help drive forwards from start to finish
An unwavering attention to detail and uncompromising excellent standards willing to constantly strive for improvement
Proficient use of G-Suite, Word, Excel
Basic Adobe Premiere skills
Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, as well as good interpersonal skills
Solutions-oriented with strong project management skills
Ability to collaborate in a team environment as well as work independently
Able to prioritise in complex, fast-paced environment working on a number of different and varied projects at one time to tight deadlines
Highly motivated, organised, proactive, enthusiastic and resourceful
Flexible to changing needs, resilient and able to remain calm under pressure
An understanding of film kit
An understanding of crew's roles and responsibilities
