Digital Natives is a social first creative agency based in east London. Our rapidly growing team of creatives, strategists, designers, editors and account managers work together to create impactful content for our list of global brands, covering FMCG, fashion, beauty, and tech. We're looking for a Junior Producer to join the Digital Natives (DN) team and take the lead on smaller scale shoots. DN are a small, nimble production company and there are times on set when you may be required to help with product prepping or the set up/break down, a knowledge of equipment and the ability to set some things up (eg c-stands, colorama stands, octadomes) or a willingness to learn is desirable. This role will benefit from our hybrid working policy, with time spent in the office and working from home. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:- Take the lead on smaller shoots (budgets up to approx. £50k) with oversight from the Head of Production- Support the Head of Production to deliver large department wide projects (budgets £50K+)- Oversight of pre-production- Oversight of post production (ensuring edits and feedback are delivered and received on time)- Ensure the smooth running of the production department by offering some managerial support for the Head of Production- Liaise with teams across DN to understand the work streams of different projects and knowing who is responsible for which parts- Oversee and support the Production Coordinator in delivering internal shoots and edits in the in-house studio for our social retainer clients - Ballpark costing up for potential shoots- Granular budgeting for live productions- Reconciling budgets once jobs are closed- Create delivery timelines from creative development, through pre-production, production and post-production all the way through to final delivery and keeping tabs on that process as it moves through the different departments. - Relationship management with our freelancer network- Crewing up for shoots- Location scouting- Casting - Shoot logistics, ensuring product, equipment, people etc all arrive safely to set- Shoot scheduling and time management on set, making sure the shoot runs to schedule JOB REQUIREMENTS:- Prior experience working in production and with production budgets- Ability to negotiate with suppliers, freelancers, locations and shoot partners etc- Prior experience of working in or close to other on set departments for a more holistic understanding of the different parts of a shoot. This could be working as a runner, or some experience with lighting , photography, film etc.- Problem solving and the ability to take initiative- Ability to delegate tasks and support the wider team in busy times - A willingness to get stuck in and learn on the job
