About the Role

PPC Creative Limited is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Offline Editor to join their Soho post-production team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their editing career, eager to gain hands-on experience while working on a wide variety of exciting projects, including trailers, promos, TV spots, and featurettes.

As a Junior Offline Editor, you will work alongside Senior Editors and producers, assisting with the editing process, managing media assets, and contributing to the assembly of edits. This role is suited for someone with industry experience who is passionate about developing their storytelling and technical abilities in a fast-paced creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist Senior Editors and the offline department with the editing process, including assembling footage, syncing audio, and organizing projects.
Edit shorter-form content (teasers, social media clips, and promotional material) under supervision.
Prepare rough cuts and string-outs for review, with basic sound and music integration.
Incorporate feedback from Senior Editors and producers to enhance edits and storytelling.
Manage media assets, ensuring proper labelling, organization, and backup of project files.
Support post-production workflow by maintaining clear project structures and ensuring smooth handovers.
Troubleshoot minor technical issues related to media management and software.
Stay up-to-date with editing trends, tools, and techniques to enhance skills.
Collaborate with creative teams to provide fresh ideas and creative solutions.

Key Skills and Requirements

1-2 years of experience in post-production, media agency, or similar environments.
Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (experience with Avid is a plus).
Understanding of offline-to-online workflows, media management, and file organization.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow creative and technical instructions.
Some experience with sound design, music integration, and basic graphics handling.
A passion for storytelling, with awareness of pacing, rhythm, and emotional impact.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to take on new challenges.
Familiarity with colour grading, VFX, and motion graphics integration is a plus but not essential.

The duties and responsibilities outlined above are intended to provide an overview of the role. The company reserves the right to amend or adjust these duties as necessary to meet the needs of the business.

If you meet the above requirements and are looking to take the next step in your editing career, please apply now with your CV and portfolio.
