As a Junior Motion Designer, you will be helping to create engaging content through motion graphics and video editing. An active interest in the latest design trends and advancements in the industry is a must, as well a strong sense of formal graphic design, illustration principles and a great eye for detail.

You will require a solid knowledge of modern computing platforms, with the ability to work within and troubleshoot MacOS and Windows being the backbone of our productions. Experience with the management of Linux based rendering pipelines is a bonus, but not a necessity.

The Adobe Creative Suite and its ecosystem of third party plug-ins will be your bread and butter production tools. The daily focus will be on 2D animations and video editing using After Effects and Premiere Pro and alongside that will come a knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop to assist in the creation of assets.

Conventional illustration skills will be looked upon favorably, as well as a proven ability to conceptualize and communicate through style frame development and storyboards.

You'll be working on a wide array of exciting, fast turnaround projects for our client's social media channels. No day will be the same!

A successful candidate will join the team of shooters / editors / graphic designers and producers who lead all aspects of our productions. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills. You'll need to be hard-working, quick to adapt and eager to learn.

Previous experience with brand identities is advantageous.

1+ year experience in motion design and video editing with an on-going thirst for knowledge and skills.
Solid understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite.
A proven understanding of design and illustration principles and application of motion graphic techniques to action a brief.
Happy to work both independently and within a team.

What would be a bonus:

Knowledge of the go-to third party offerings that compliment Adobe Creative Suite - such as Trapcode Suite, Element 3D and Boris FX.
A working knowledge of 3D applications such as Cinema 4D and Maya.
Experience with 2D character rigging and character animation.
Experience with match moving/motion tracking and rotoscoping.
A knowledge of video production, camera practices and workflows.
