Out Point Media are a small, friendly and experienced team based in Bristol and London who are quickly expanding and looking for a talented new video editor to join the team initially on a 3-month freelance basis, with the possibility of being taken on as a permanent team member.This is an entry level position, and the new role will be tasked mainly with matching audio recorded in both French and English, to the original master video. Due to this a high proficiency in both French and English is required, along with a firm understanding of video editing and audio to video syncing. This role will report directly to the Head of UK Operations based in Bristol who will oversee the project going forward. The ideal candidate must be based in Bristol, will have an excellent attention to detail, is hard working and able to work to monthly deadlines.Responsibilities of the position· Using video editing software to match audio recorded in different languages to the original master video· Using a high proficiency in both French and English to perform an audio to video sync, with the ability to be able to identify and fix any issues· Using google sheets to update cross department data sheets· Exporting end video to a required specification· Delivering finished files to an FTP locationEssential Requirements· high proficiency in both French and English· Minimum of 2 years' experience in video editing· A firm understanding of Adobe Premiere Pro, and Adobe Media Encoder, or other video editing software· Experience in video encoding to multiple different specifications· A working understanding of google sheets or Excel· A high attention to detail· Ability to manage the successful delivery of fast paced media projects to the required standard and deadlines.Desirable Skills· Experience working in broadcast programming· Experience working with colour correction and motion graphics· A demonstrated understanding of working with Content Management SystemsDue to the current issues surrounding COVID 19 we are offering the successful applicant the ability to either work remotely, or in our coworking office based on King Street in central Bristol. However, we would like the successful applicant to be able to work in the office based in King Street within the next couple of months when the office is fully operational.
