Junior Digital Designer

London hybrid HYBRID

As a Junior Digital Designer for M&S, you will work closely with the Sparks, M&S Food and M&S FH&B teams to play an important role in delivering high-quality email design and digital assets to support the Marketing function of Sparks.

As a highly creative, proactive, and enquiring individual you will be good at communicating and sharing your ideas and work, whilst also working well as a team and collaborating with others. With an intuitive grasp of visual storytelling as well as design of visual graphics or assets for emails, web and app, you will be passionate about driving efficiency and effectiveness to support the ongoing success of our Sparks programme. This role would require an individual who has a keen eye for detail and can juggle multiple projects and timelines.

Key accountabilities and measures

Creating engaging email campaigns and Digital Assets for M&S Sparks.
Having a good awareness of best practice in designing for CRM, web and UX .
Bringing fresh ideas and approaches, as well as being knowledgeable of current industry trends.
Introducing key trends from design, including digital and CRM by sharing best practices from other brands & retailers.
Collaborate with the other members of the team to build a thriving work environment where knowledge and ideas are shared.
Key Skills

Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Aftereffects)
Good knowledge of UX principles
Basic knowledge of CSS/HTML
Experience using Figma
Highly creative with a good eye for detail and a passion for design
Excellent communication skills
Initiative - able to work well independently, as well as within a team
Collaboration - working with multiple teams and stakeholders
Ability to juggle multiple projects and timelines
Experience working in retail an advantage
Passion and desire to learn new tools and techniques
