Junior Designer

London

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team who have made a significant mark on the industry in a short space of time. We are working on a large range of exciting print campaigns across Film and TV from concept, through shoot to delivery. You will be joining a team who are passionate about challenging the status quo of poster design and drawing from a wide range of influences.



Working on several projects simultaneously, this role will require self-motivation, excellent time management and the discipline to cope with fast turnarounds and hard deadlines. You will receive support from our team of art directors, helping you to develop your own unique style in poster design.



This role is open to anyone with a desire to get into Film Poster design. Prior experience in the industry is not required, though a passion for film and entertainment is.


Please note, that this is an in-person office-based role in Shoreditch, London.



KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with the design team to concept and develop creative key art campaigns that meet the brief
To bring fresh ideas and conceptual thinking to creative meetings, drawing from a variety of influences
Working with designers and art directors on shoot decks, including helping source reference material
Designing across a broad range of print and digital projects, including creating presentations decks and adapting key art to various formats
Communicating frequently with art directors to receive feedback and design guidance
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Strong organisational skills along with strong attention to detail
Excellent time management with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously and keep a level head under pressure in a reactive environment with quick turnaround times
Technically minded with creative sensibilities
Collaborative with the ability to work well as part of a team and create strong working relationships
A calm and professional manner
A proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach
Fast learner and adaptable with a passion for film, design and typography
Focused and self-motivated
DESIRABLE SKILLS

Relevant Degree - Technical or related creative field
Finishing: Art-working and Retouching
Other Adobe Creative Suite applications
Photography and illustration
Experience with 3D software
