Junior Colourist & Online Editor

Bristol

We are an internationally established production company creating a broad range of factual content. We are seeking a Junior Colourist & Online Editor with Avid Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve experience to work with the Post-Production Manager to ensure in-house editing services are delivered to the highest creative and technical standards. We are looking for candidates with an ambition to continue developing their skills in grading and online editing.

You will be responsible for the following:?

- Colour grading and online editing in-house productions
- Hosting grade and online sign offs with series producers and executives
- Working closely with the wider finishing team to meet delivery deadlines
- Organising and managing finishing projects and media
- Providing finishing support such as pregrade, conform and QCs when required
- Providing offline edit support when required

? Skills/Experience - Essential

- Grading in SDR using DaVinci Resolve or a similar platform
- Online editing in Avid Media Composer
- Experience in a post-production facility in finishing or edit support role
- Creating end of edit elements for the grade and tracklay
- Pregrade and conform tasks in Avid Media Composer for the grade
- Delivering QC and Automated QC for broadcast
- Excellent general IT skills across both Mac and PC
- In-depth knowledge of broadcast technology and theory such as codecs, frame rates and bit rates
- An exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to quickly analyse and solve problems

Skills/Experience - Desirable

- In-depth knowledge of a variety of software including Adobe Premiere and Avid Pro Tools
- Colour grading in HDR

The initial contract length is for 12 months.
