This role is suitable for anyone working at AP/Researcher level who is interested in working across Scripted and Unscripted International TV Production.The main responsibilities for this role are to work across the NBCUniversal International format division assisting the sales and production of many of our international formats from Top Chef to Real Housewives. You should have a passion for international formats as you will be working with producers to create format bibles, liaising with international clients and assisting their productions, producing promos and creating pitch presentations for new and existing formats.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Liaising with producers to obtain materials for format bibles including acquiring graphics, music and production 'knowhow'. • Reviewing, adapting and writing bible material for clients.• Responsible for production assets for local producers including schedules, budgets, digibetas, dvds,ratings and marketing materials.• Supporting the Director of International Format Production & Development in keeping the Development Slate up to date and liaising with the US teams for production/development updates • Sourcing materials for taster tapes and creating pitch materials for upcoming shows.• Producing MIP promos including organizing, writing scripts and running edits.• Sourcing potential new shows for the NBCUniversal International Format Slate.• Liaising with the legal team on format optioning and licensing agreements.• Supporting the team in IT whilst assisting with obtaining assets and writing copy for the formats website.• Preparing presentations when necessary. • Ad hoc production assistant duties, particularly when in a co-production (advising on games selection, organizing VO records, arranging for translation of production assets)SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Required• Knowledge of the International TV Format Market• TV Production Experience from researcher level • Excellent IT and presentation skills , especially Powerpoint, Photoshop and strong visual capability• Professional and confident style in dealing with all levels of staff and 3rd parties• Able to balance and prioritize support for a busy team • Must have excellent communication skills including report writing and excellent telephone manner• Resilient and Resourceful - Must be able to work effectively with the minimum of supervision. • Ability to research and source adhoc information independently• Strong sense of initiative with the ability to multitask, and anticipate executive needs, using a proactive and energetic style• Good attention to detail, and the ability to deliver as promised • Good Microsoft office and Mac skills are essential. • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information in a discreet manner• Educated to degree level is desirable Desirable• Foreign Language skills. • Editing and Final Cut Pro skills. • TV post production experience.
