Title: Interim Production Manager
Dates: To January/ February 2019
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Works: 5 days per week
Salary: Dependant on experience

Purpose of the job

To lead production management, allocating resources for all projects, contributing to their financial and operational planning and delivery, optimising profit margin in conjunction with the project Producer and ensuring correct practices are being followed as well as being system champion responsible for producing monthly dashboard reporting

Main tasks

Overseeing the business administration, finance and staffing arrangements for production projects, ensuring that everything runs smoothly during filming and that the project stays within budget and on schedule

Responsible for utilising Synergist, our project management tool to ensure meaningful use by the wider team and produce accurate monthly dashboard reports

General Duties

Leading the production function to provide quotes for production projects, carry out research and planning activities at the start of a project timeline, schedule in-house and freelance staff in relation to multiple projects, ensuring that use of resources is maximized for efficiency in conjunction with the project Producer

Ensuring each project is tracked carefully, coordinating schedules and administration, managing associated costs and activities, liaising with relevant Hub (and freelance) team members, clients and suppliers

Communicating regularly and effectively with project stakeholders to find solutions for problems arising and provide exceptional service delivery

Working closely with Producers to ensure projects are delivered within budget, maximizing margin and to required timescales

Streamlining processes to optimise efficiency

Actively participating in Hub's culture, the basis of which is continuous learning, the demonstration of vibrancy and energy to become the best in the field with passion and pride in the work that we do everyday

Being responsible for personal and some team aspects of health and safety

Commitment to own professional development in line with Hub's culture
