We're looking for a talented in-house Shooter/Editor to support our producers and directors on the various projects that we are simultaneously running. We are very keen to find someone for this role who is passionate, a fantastic multitasker, eager to learn new skills and that keeps on top of new trends in content creation.Responsibilities:To be the core in-house editor working on all Film team projects, both as leading editor and as supporting edit resource alongside freelancersProfessional ability to use Adobe creative suite, Premiere, and where necessary other video editing software, such as After Effects and MS Office suiteBe fully competent using different professional camerasProvide operational and technical specialism to meet the visual and artistic requirements of the production teamLead on small crew shoots as main filming resourceHave the ability to film different content types, genres and approaches, including promos, trailers, social content and long-form contentProduce cohesive shooting scripts for sign offLead the creative storytelling within an edit and turning them into filmsUnderstand the creative aims and demands of projects, with an ability to visualise and help translate creative ideas into realityEnsure appropriate production resources are obtained according to schedule and in line with regulations and budgetWork with the producer/director on set to ensure the smooth planning and running of the filming scheduleWork independently and create first edits without instruction from producer/directorThe ideal candidate will already have some experience in the film, TV or advertising industry.
