In-House Editor (Adobe Premiere Pro)

Dash Pictures is looking for a full-time Offline Editor to join our busy post-production team, working across premium documentary and factual series for major UK and international broadcasters and streamers.
This role is ideal for an editor who is confident in shaping long-form narrative, enjoys collaborating with producers and execs, and is comfortable working at pace across multi-episode series. You'll be editing primarily in Adobe Premiere Pro, taking episodes from assembly through to fine cut, and working closely with the wider post and production teams through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offline edit for documentary and factual television series, using Adobe Premiere Pro
- Shape strong narrative arcs across episodes, not just scenes
- Work from rushes, transcripts, archive and notes to build clear, engaging cuts
- Collaborate closely with Directors, Exec Producers and the Head of Post
- Respond constructively to editorial notes and broadcaster feedback
- Maintain organised, clean projects suitable for online, grade, and delivery
- Manage versions, turnovers and picture locks in line with post schedules
- Liaise with post-production to ensure smooth handover to online, grade, sound and delivery
- Occasionally support Junior Editors /Assistants where appropriate
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience editing documentary or factual TV series
- Strong storytelling instincts and sense of pacing and structure
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro in a professional environment
- Experience working with long-form timelines, multi-camera, archive and transcripts
- Confident taking editorial direction and broadcaster notes
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Calm, reliable and collaborative under deadline pressure
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Multi-episode series workflows
- Archive-heavy programmes
- Working alongside assistants and post teams
- Familiarity with UK broadcast delivery expectations
- Basic understanding of turnovers to online / grade / sound
