In-House Drama Coordinator

Cardiff

Little Door Productions are looking for an In-House Drama Coordinator to join the team. This is a really varied role covering all aspects of production from early development to delivery. You will provide support on production legals and finance; assist with production paperwork and provide hands on assistance to the production teams.

You will be the centre of communication across projects in development and in production, managing diaries for the Managing Directors and across all office administration including managing suppliers, arranging travel and accommodation, and devising and maintaining office systems. You will also work alongside the MD's to provide administrative support on company finance, legals, as well as PR and socials.

We are looking for someone that has at least 2 years' experience in scripted drama. You will have a working knowledge and understanding of the production process of television drama as well as the production paperwork requirements. You will be highly organised and flexible in your approach to work with great communication skills.

Experience and Skills:
• 2 years' experience in scripted drama;
• Effective time management and organisational skills and the ability to work independently;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Flexible working approach;
• A demonstrable aptitude for detail and accuracy in all areas;
• Ability to negotiate, strong numerical skills and experience of managing budgets;
• Resilience and stamina to sustain performance when under pressure from tight schedules and conflicting priorities;
• Ability to use own initiative with confidence, using judgement to refer up where necessary;
• Confidence, assertiveness and decisiveness;
• Shows integrity in dealing with confidential information and material;
• A self-starter, always forward thinking and planning ahead;
• Appetite for knowledge and learning.

This role is offered on a permanent contract with benefits.

Salary circa £40,000 Gross pro rata per annum depending on level of experience.

Office hours Monday - Friday 9:30-18:00. Could consider 4-day week.
