We are looking for a Hire Co-ordinator/Marketing Administrator to join our busy hire department, which is based near MediaCity, Salford. VIN offers a tailored production equipment rental service to the Broadcast industry. We work continuously alongside BBC departments, ITV, Independent Production Companies and Freelancer Operators and our goal is to expand our business within these markets, whilst retaining our high standards.Hire Co-ordinator/Marketing Administrator role:You will report to and work alongside the Hire Manager, assisting them on our bookings desk by coordinating hire enquires and related tasks. You will manage incoming calls and emails offering first class customer service with close attention to detail. You will be responsible for assisting and advising clients to put together the best possible equipment package for their Production, organising each hire from conception through to completion using our bespoke hire software. Some broadcast equipment knowledge would be an advantage, but is not essential.You will also be required to work with the Company Director and Hire Manager to develop greater awareness of the VIN brand through the use of Social Media and Website development.Key responsibilities:Inbound and outbound calls to clients and suppliersTaking bookings for equipment using our bespoke hire softwareLiaising with internal staff and supporting the hire teamMaintaining great relationships with clients and suppliersWorking to tight deadlinesMaintain and update client recordsWebsite and Social Media platform input and maintenanceAdhere to Visual Impact Northern Ltd policies and procedures, H&S and confidentialityRelevant other duties as assignedEnsure relevant knowledge and skills are maintained.This is a dynamic and fast paced company and this role would suit a person with similar attributes. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills. Be able to work on their own initiative, but also willing to follow instruction. A good knowledge of Microsoft, Adobe and Wordpress software packages is essential as well as the desire to develop your knowledge and become a valuable team member within the Company. This is a Full-Time role. Normal working hours 9am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday, but flexibility is required. 23 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays. Full driving licence would be preferred.Sales range 21-26K per annum depending on experience.
