iD Studios - The podcast studio made for creators, by creators. We were tired of everything out there so we did it ourselves. 2 fully customisable sets, industry leading equipment, and an East London location. iD Studios opens in January and we are looking to build a hungry, motivated team who are looking to grow fast.Head Podcast Engineer x YouAs Head Podcast Engineer, you will be at the centre of everything we do. You will be responsible for managing the studio, operating the equipment, training the team and ensuring we maintain the highest standards. You will also be hands on with managing and growing our client base, as well as ensuring we are ahead of the industry trends. To thrive in this role you must be committed, hard working and ready to take the next step in your career. We are looking for someone hungry for a leadership role who wants to grow with the company. Things you'll do:- Work closely with the MD to manage the day-to-day operations of iD Studios.- Set up the sets for our clients & live edit their podcasts when required.- Help manage and grow the iD Studios customer base.- Manage the editing work done by external partners and/or freelance producers.- Manage the junior engineer/s. - Manage the iD Studios staff rota.- Oversee the client booking schedule and ensure all bookings are assigned an engineer. Who we are looking for?Creative: We want someone to bring their own ideas and make their mark on iD Studios. You will have the opportunity to really make your presence felt and be instrumental in growing the business.Committed: We want someone who is passionate about podcasting and is looking for their long-term career to be within the space. This role can grow as the business does so we are looking for someone to join us for the long-term!Considerate: We want to establish a harmonious & happy working environment and by being one of the earliest members of the team you will be instrumental in achieving this.Knowledgeable: We want you to have a comprehensive knowledge of the industry as well as the equipment in which we can produce industry leading podcasts. What you'll need:- A degree in video, film making, production or equivalent.- A minimum of 3 years experience in podcast production. - Excellent communication and management skills. - You are career driven with an open mind and prepared to work outside of your comfort zone. - Experience working with audio, video and lighting equipment. - Experience working with video/audio editing equipment. - A hands on and entrepreneurial attitude Please send your CV and cover letter to jordan@idpodcaststudio.co.uk.
