I'm looking for a new Head of Technical Operations to join our startup.

At its core, the role involves full responsibility for equipment maintenance, overseeing rentals, and managing sales within that department. If you don't yet have experience in certain areas, you would be guided closely by our COO.

We are a micro-company with a core team of 3.5 people. We need someone who is genuinely "locked in" and committed. This role involves developing your on-set attributes as a camera assistant, camera operator, drone pilot, and hopefully DOP in the future.

We focus on wet hire, so you will be required to go on set regularly.

This is a live-in opportunity based in a nice apartment in Millbank (SW1), featuring a sauna, gym, and underground parking. We run the business from here and have a bedroom available; I am looking for someone prepared to move in with us to cover office responsibilities.

* Starting Salary: Approx. £1,600 per month (Retainer).
* On-Set Rates: An additional £70-£190+ per day depending on your role.
* Growth: Opportunities to increase income through consistent work, entrepreneurial initiative, and eventually direct commission on rentals.
* Flexibility: Hours are ad hoc. We don't heavily police your time as long as you have an internal locus of control, follow systems religiously, and get the job done proactively.

I need someone meticulous and detail-oriented. We follow strict systems, including a Yellow/Red Card accountability framework for following insurance, sign-off protocols, and deadlines. If you struggle with order, discipline, or punctuality, this role will not be a fit.

We are currently at 10-20% capacity and aiming for significant scale. As a popular DOP, my goal is to eventually pass more on-set work to someone I can trust to represent the brand properly.

Any freelance work you have is fine to continue as long as it integrates into our system.
