OR Media is a leading production company that makes high profile films for many of the world's leading networks. Known for its access, rigorous storytelling and editorial integrity, the company has a proud track record of producing award-winning films in a range of factual genres. We have an extensive back catalogue, multiple new long-form commissions, and ongoing productions. To help deliver our commissions, we are now seeking two experienced heads of Production to join our team. One will be responsible for the UK, the other for EMEA.

About the Roles
Working closely with the Director of Production, you will oversee multiple television production teams. Ensuring all commissions are delivered as per the brief from preparation, Production through to postproduction.

• Lead and motivate teams, both Production and editorial.
• Navigate complex shoots in multiple territories, time zones and languages.
• Resource planning ensures all current, and future productions have the right staff to meet demands and deadlines.
• Identify issues before they become problems, come up with solutions and implement them.
• Implement and maintain communication and management systems to ensure efficiencies in all teams.
• Skilled negotiator at stakeholder level.
• Work with the Head of Operations to create policies and procedures using best practices in the industry.
• To be the ultimate point of escalation for conflict resolution.
• Support and mentor others in the team, drawing on your experience and production knowledge.
• Ability to communicate clearly and prioritise tasks under pressure.

About You
• 7+ years in a similar position across specialist factual and documentary commissions for global broadcasters
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and teams at once is essential
• Considerable knowledge of the television industry and ability to demonstrate a real passion for the role and genre.
• Strong track record of developing production talent and building high-performing teams
• Team player and empathetic team leader
• Real problem solver
• Have a great existing network of industry contacts, both talent and suppliers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrable negotiation and budget skills
• Technically, operationally, and financially astute.
• Experience in working in the Middle East is a bonus.
