A fantastic opportunity has arisen for someone to join a fun and exciting global multi-platform production company as our Head of Production. Merman was founded in 2014 by award-winning duo Sharon Horgan and Clelia Mountford. Merman has gathered multiple accolades the world over, including a BAFTA win and an Emmy nomination for its hit show 'Catastrophe'.Based at our offices on Blackfriars Road, Southwark , and reporting to the joint Co-Founders, in this role you will oversee all programme management including scheduling, budgeting, reporting and negotiating. You will be responsible for the implementation of company policies on all our productions including risk assessments, H&S, child protection, data protection and will need to have demonstrable experience operating at this level.The ideal candidate will have a successful track record in broadcaster contact/negotiation, setting up productions/initial crewing, line production and people management within narrative programming (including scripted comedy, drama and multi-camera shows). We are very lucky to have a hardworking but friendly and fun environment here at Merman, so a good sense of humour is essential!
