Head of Production

Soho, London

Technicolor currently has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Production to join our Post Production operation in Soho, London.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Feature production team at our Soho facility; building on an effective Project Management team that is fully integrated and highly collaborative with Sales, Artists, Operations and Technology Services and successfully delivering Studio 'tent pole' Projects.
This is an ideal role for a Senior DI wanting to take that step up or for an existing HoP eager to develop their relationships across the major studios and work on key titles.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Background
Working at Technicolor is about helping to create iconic visual experiences that are remembered by generations. It's about being creative, contributing to work that will be seen by millions and working with the very best content creators in the theatrical and broadcast industry.

Based in the heart of Soho, Technicolor's Lexington Street studio is a state-of-the-art post production facility which prides itself on its exceptional creative talent. With over 100 years of heritage and experience, we have worked on everything from big-budget blockbusters to cutting edge broadcast dramas and much more.

Client Experience: Set expectations for and actively drive exemplary Client Experience throughout the building and the business.

Projects

Project Management: Ensuring all project management processes are aligned within the group, utilising all optimum tools available to the business. Standardising approach, production and completion in ensuring the smooth running of projects. Looking to reduce excess data duplication and highlighting areas for increased efficiency development and automation, where possible, will be key to improving the department's utilisation.
Deliveries: The Deliveries on Studio Features continues to grow in complexity. Understanding and managing these requirements is a significant part of the role
Project Profitability: Accountability for Project Profitability and the systems that enable measurement including timely billing activities and resource utilisation.
Pulse/Rush: Help onboard and rollout the development of our newly integrated web-based media management platforms. Orchestrate Production training and understanding of the tool, whilst helping support clients in its everyday application.
Group Collaboration: To use knowledge, systems and resources from the Technicolor Group to provide solutions to clients of both Technicolor Global Post and Technicolor UK
Business and Knowledge Management: Articulate, document and maintain processes and procedures aligned to workflow and business process along with the occasional business / project plans aligned to Business strategies. As required share with the UK team and the Technicolor Group.
Senior Management Team: To integrate seamlessly alongside the senior management team, building good working relationships and routines and being able to work well with all stakeholder levels.
