Industry: A well known International Factual Documentary and Communications Production Company with 20 years experience in making creative visual media content.

We are recruiting a experienced Head of Production to oversee our international documentary filming, print and animation projects. You will be working alongside a minimum of three Production Managers, Production Assistant with additional freelancers supplementing the team as required.

Responsible for managing and overseeing the overall Production Budgets, including overseeing the Post Production department budget with the Head of Post Production; you will also work with the Head of Operations monitoring the overall financial health of the company.

Responsible for helping to strengthen the structures and procedures within the company, producing accurate and timely production reports as requested.Responsible for growing the production business and developing good relationships with both clients and third party suppliers, you will work with the Managing Director assisting with Client proposals, meetings and creating budgets and schedules.

You will be responsible for managing the Production Managers, Production Assistant, allocating projects and working with the Head of Operations ensuring that basic HR procedures are met, appraisals training and progression on larger projects.

Requirements you will bring a wealth of TV knowledge and experience to the role, having worked in a variety of disciplines. You will need a broad overview of how the TV/Creative industries works and the different disciplines available in order to show creative solutions and to assist members of your team.

You will either be a very experienced Head Production Manager with many years of experience in the TV industry and a wide extensive list of broadcast credits or and are a Head Of Production in a small company wanting to take the next step up.
