We are looking for an experienced Head of Production to lead our talented team of Post Production Executives, Post Producers and Coordinators. The ideal candidate will be a successful Post Producer in their own right, with either a successful background in a similar role or strong ambition to develop their leadership skills and become the manager of the Production department of a long form post production company.

What you will be doing...
? Leading our team of Post Production Executives, Post Producers and Post Production Coordinators
? Ensuring the smooth running of every project from start to finish
? Managing and allocating projects and workload to the production team
? Providing or organising production team training and passing on knowledge
? Taking on the role of Project Director where it is required on critical projects
? Overseeing full time recruitment for the team and managing any use of freelance talent
? Reporting directly to the Managing Director and being the key production contact for all Heads of Department providing regular communication to ensure client's needs are met
? Scheduling and providing input on schedule strategy alongside the sales team and Managing Director
? Representing Splice at the highest level, championing the company and its staff, internally and externally
? Building and gaining strong working relationships with clients, attending industry events and social meetings with current and prospective clients
? Troubleshooting and escalation point for clients on production matters
? Understanding of company's financial targets, revenue, profit, pricing, quotes and financial performance
? Providing detailed quotes for your clients and/or to work with the sales team on leads and client relations to enable them to quote
? Be a key part of sales meetings and input on revenue and targets

Who you are...
? You will have a wealth of experience as an Executive Post Producer or Senior Post Producer within long form post production
? Previous experience as a Head of Production in a long form post production environment is advantageous but we are also considering someone who is ready to step into a Head of Production position
? A natural leader, someone who leads from the front and encourages high performance from your team and provides the support and framework for them to succeed
? You have an in-depth knowledge of advanced post production workflow including SVOD delivery and OCF and DI workflows
? You are an outside the box thinker and problem solver
? You have great organisation and keen attention to detail
? You are excellent at communications and at building constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
