Due to an increase in demand and team growth, we're seeking a Head of Production (Content) to ensure the outputs produced by the team meet the brief and are delivered to a high standard and on schedule.RequirementsYou will manage and oversee a Production team, seeking and implementing efficiencies in processes and delivery with the aim of keeping aps at the leading edge of Content creativity and quality. There may also be involvement in developing the project brief depending on its nature and complexity and you will be responsible for the overall content and quality standards of the team as well as acting as an expert consultant in this area.Ensuring changes and project scope updates are managed and that these are fed back to the relevant stakeholders so schedules, quotes/costs, project documentation/records etc. can be amended will enable the effective management of projects which can be fast paced with changing priorities, which will require a reactive approach at times. You will also work closely with the operations and other media teams to ensure people appropriate to the requirements of a project are allocated and there is sufficient resource in place to deliver. You will also ensure there is a robust quality control process in place, reducing the need for further amendments and their knock-on effect, and you will ultimately be responsible for the team's time allocation to projects ensuring it is appropriate and always recorded promptly.What will you be doing? * Overseeing the production team to ensure the projects delivered meet the brief and are of a high standard * Management of internal and third-party resource according to schedules * Managing internal team communications * Producing project estimates, with input from the wider team as needed * Managing changes, scheduling and timelines * Future planning to ensure resource is always in place and demand is servicedRequirements * Significant experience and knowledge of content production processes and client management gained within a busy agency setting * Positive can-do attitude and ability to use initiative * Ability to manage multiple projects and resources * Experience of quality control processes * Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite * Experience of project and agency management tools, ideally SynergistBenefitsWhen joining aps, it's not just a job, you're starting a career.
