Full time Head of Post Production wanted with excellent working knowledge of Adobe CC & experience managing a busy post production department.

Spectrecom Films produces award-winning films, television shows, commercials, corporate, charity and branded content for some of the world's leading brands, TV networks and digital agencies. Based out of our large Kennington headquarters in London we run 14 post-production suites.

We are looking for a Head of Post Production, experienced as a senior editor with broadcast, commercial and branded content credits to oversee our multiple edit suite post-production department. Applicants must have strong in-depth technical knowledge and full understanding of the hardware and software requirements of an in-house facility. This is a management roll where the candidate will be overseeing the smooth running of the team & facilities, supervising QC and monitoring timelines.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Intimate knowledge of all Adobe CC programmes/server based management & editing/LTO Backups/Mac OS is essential. Preferred experienced Visual Effects, Grading, Audio mastering.

- Leading & Managing the Post Production Team
Day to day management of full offline & online delivery processes and technical requirements.
Edit supervision of prominent projects as required.
Set objectives and help each team member with training and professional development.
Able to work with production team to ensure efficient workflows & timeline QC.
Accurate and calm under pressure with excellent client facing skills.

- Management of Post Production Technical Systems
Ensuring edit suites (including broadcast online, audio and grading) are maintained and operated at the required level.
Constant review of hardware, software and processes
Responsible for SPACE/EDIT SHARE / server management.
Oversee LTO backup workflow.

- Designing Post Production Workflows
Converting & syncing rushes.
Deliveries & QC of masters (4K/HD).
Running & Maintaining backups.
Management of Post Production Budgets & Scheduling with Producers & PM's.
Sourcing freelance & fixed term talent as required.
