ABOUT THE ROLE:We are currently looking for a Head of Post-Production to join an independent production company in Central London.Key Responsibilities:• Creatively oversee all Post Production, providing QC on all edits and GFX and giving feedback to ensure each project is delivered to a high quality, both creatively and technically.• Working closely with all Heads of Departments from pre-production stage to completion, ensuring projects are delivered to the client's specification on time and on budget.• Manage large scale post budgets with Producers and Post Producers.• Working with the Post Producer to build and maintain great working relationships with 3rd party suppliers including freelancers and outsourcing for online.• Overseeing the installation and maintenance of the post-production team and infrastructure including editing software and hardware, networks and back up protocol.• Assisting producers in quoting on projects (post only).• Coordinating and monitoring workflow of the team to ensure efficient running of the department.• Signing off in-house post team's holiday requests (in conjunction with the General Manager).• Meeting with in-house Executive Producers, Producers and clients to discuss upcoming projects.Key Skills:• 8 - 10 years' experience in Post-Production.• 2 + years' experience in a Senior Management position.• Experience in branded and online content, commercials and documentary.• Excellent knowledge of editing and motion graphics including; Adobe Premiere, Cinema 4D, After Effects, Photoshop and InDesign. • Strong background in delivering high-end content.• Senior level scheduling experience.• Ability to give clear and concise creative feedback to editors and animators and make sure it is implemented.• Good knowledge of servers and networks and post-production pipelines.• Some Production knowledge would be beneficial.• Some experience in Print would be useful.• Great communication and organisational skills.• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle several projects at the same time. • Friendly and being able to work in and as a team.Start Date = ASAP
