Overview of role This is a 6 month FTC position. You will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of curly productions and campaigns from a technical and post production perspective. Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of edit suites at curly, setting up and maintaining storage solutions and backup processes as well as the edits themselves. Reporting to the MD and HoP.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesWork with creative teams to prepare for shoots so that the post production is thought about from the start of production.Work with shoot teams to ensure rushes are properly backed up, logged.Set up and manage post-production protocol - naming conventions, folder structures and ensure this is maintained and adhered to across edits.Manage curly's data storage - advising on solutions and maintenance. Oversee post production - managing freelancers working on post production (editors, vfx, grade, mix, graphics etc)Support edits technically. Ensuring client and CD/ creative notes are addressed. Spell checking subs, ensuring safe zones are checked etc.Work with MD and HoP on project timelines from a post production perspective.Work with HoP, PM's to track production schedules and manage/update the master production calendarWork with, onboard and contract external freelancers and production staff, including producers, directors, editorsImplement and maintain efficient post production workflowsManage day-to-day post production operations to ensure that projects run smoothly and deadlines are met.
