A superb opportunity to oversee both feature film and TV drama series production for the Global Production Team of this leading producer and distributor.Our client is one of Europe's leaders in production, distribution and international sales of feature films and TV drama.Based in London, you will work with teams in London, Continental Europe and Los Angeles to oversee both feature film and TV drama series production for the Global Production Team. The position will work closely with internal partners, including Production, Finance, and BA teams.You will lead on the evaluation and improvement of internal processes to boost efficiency, quality of content, and operational precision.Specific responsibilities include:Develop and supervise budgets and production schedules, plan productions, solve problemsCreate and initiate ongoing relationships with high-level crew working in film and series in UK/Europe and assemble and work closely with them to make the company's creative and budget goals matchDeliver a finished product on time and on the budget for a high level of complex projectsCreate and initiate ongoing relationships with external vendors that align with business objectivesCreate policies and procedures using best practices in the industryDrive infrastructure and organization design for team and departmentRepresents team/project with higher levels of management, and external partnersWith extensive experience as a Film Producer/Production Executive/Line Producer or the equivalent within a high-value Film or TV drama series, you will be able to juggle multiple large-scale projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment while delivering outstanding results.You should have superb leadership experience, having managed teams in the corporate or production space.Experience with guilds and unions - in the UK, Europe and US would be preferable, as would experience working on international productions (film and TV) shot in UK/Europe through production and post.The ability to manage large complex budgets across multiple projects simultaneously is essential.Searchlight strives to promote equal opportunities for all.
