The role
With big ambitions for the Motion Studio, the position of Head of Motion is an excellent opportunity for a passionate, talented, and driven individual who is excited by the challenge of taking a lead in this growing area of Pb. Collaborating with the Director of Creative & Digital, and the wider team at Pb, you will be responsible for driving excellence within our motion studio, as well impacting creatively across the wider business. Working within a fast-moving production agency environment your core purpose will be to lead, energise and galvanise the Motion studio.

You will be willing to shape the role, bringing your own ideas to the table, identifying, and delivering creative motion solutions whilst driving commercial potential and product development. You will support the Director of Creative & Digital by inspiring your team, developing our offering, championing the creative process and be a change agent for new ways of working and thinking on creative responses for motion projects.

Our strength is delivering projects on time and within budget and so this should be important but should not stifle your ability to shape and grow the motion offerings.

The person
You will be creatively driven and commercially focused, with experience of working within a creative motion environment, who has an excellent knowledge of all aspects of motion production from pitch to delivery including technical production. Primarily, you will be an experienced creative leader with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills who possesses highly developed client relationship management ability who is used to guiding client expectations. Client focused with the desire to expand and develop the motion service and offering you will also be comfortable with reviewing and implementing improved ways of working where appropriate. You will have an exceptional understanding of how to approach, shape and deliver a client proposal, and be able to identify and guide the right creative solution for projects through the members of the motion team.

You will be experienced in managing and mentoring in creative environments and sharing best practice, understanding the challenges within the production processes.

You will have awareness of the technical possibilities as well as knowledge of the latest trends within the creative field, especially within Motion.
